O CRBE- Conselho de Representantes de Brasileiros no Exterior é um grupo composto por 16 membros titulares e 16 suplentes, escolhidos entre brasileiros que vivem no exterior. Chegou ao fim o mandato de dois anos do primeiro grupo, eleito em 2010. O Conselho é um instrumento de diálogo entre o MRE-Ministério das Relações Exteriores – e, por extensão, do Governo brasileiro -, e os brasileiros que vivem no exterior. É função dos Conselheiros, entre outras, transmitir ao MRE as principais demandas e aspirações dos brasileiros que vivem em suas respectivas regiões geográficas, auxiliando na definição de políticas em seu favor.

We’re very happy to announce the return of BRAZA!, as we kick off 2013 in fine style with one of the dopest selectors in town, DJ Romanowski! On February 9th, Roman is bringing his Brazilian crates to Slate, to rock the house alongside resident DJs Vanka & Elan (who just returned from the mother land, with a fresh batch of Brazilian wax)… Romanowski is the Swiss born, San Francisco based artist/DJ/producer extraordinaire, who has performed locally and abroad for over 20 years. His eclectic productions, encompass jazz, hip hop, electronic, and global flavors, and his tracks have found their way onto compilations by various record labels, such as Sound in Color, Dis-Joint, Future Primitive, and Bastard Jazz. His 2004 “Party in My Pants” release was a best seller and saw remix action from world renowned producers like Quantic, DJ Smash, DJ Zegon, J-Boogie and more… Romanowski will be releasing a new album this year, but not before he drops a special Brazilian flavoured set at Slate for our dancing pleasure! We look forward to get down with you again on Feb 9th – to celebrate life and music, and doing what you really love – at the best Brazilian party in the Bay Area. Brazilians can teach the world how to party. San Francisco’s premiere party makers, the Bay Area Brazilian Club and Tuka Events , cast their mystic and joyous spell again on Saturday, Feb 9 2013 It’s the 46th Friends of Brazil Carnaval Ball at “Cocomo Club”, 650 Indiana St. in San Francisco.

Featuring directly from Brazil, back by popular demand, The BRASIL/BRAZIL Band, with special guests , playing the authentic and traditional Brazilian Carnaval, Samba Enredos, Pagode, Axe, Frevos, Trio Eletrico and the traditional marchinhas, plus the sounds of Axe Brasil playing Olodum and Timbalada sounds, follow by a parade of colorful costumes, plumages and exotic dancers from Aquarela Group, DJ Ellen , Dj Kblo and more, playing non-stop music from 9:30 pm till 2 am.
